Senior Pastor, Church of the Hill
Summary
Title:Senior Pastor, Church of the Hill
ID:1001
Location:Richmond Hill, Georgia
Description

Overview

Church of the Hill, an independent Methodist community of faith, is seeking an experienced, relational, and visionary Senior Pastor to lead our congregation into its next season of ministry within our church and in our community.

We are a thriving, multi-generational and diverse congregation in Richmond Hill, Georgia, a beautiful coastal town in one of the fastest growing counties in the State.   We are a church that glorifies God through worship, service, and witness. We seek to serve our community and grow together as followers of Jesus Christ.

Our church is approaching 600 members; averages 450 attendees in weekly worship across our Sunday traditional and modern worship services; and serves over 250 children and youth through our Wednesday night programs. We are financially sound with recent investments in church infrastructure to allow for our growing worship services, programs, and ministries.

After many years of faithful service to our congregation, our Senior and Associate Pastors - who serve together as husband and wife - are retiring. We are deeply grateful for their years of leadership and love, and now prayerfully begin our search for our new Senior Pastor.

The Opportunity

The Senior Pastor will serve as the spiritual leader of the church, and is responsible to proclaim the gospel of Jesus Christ, to provide pastoral care and counsel, to administer the sacraments, and to order the life of the church and its outreach programs for service in mission and ministry. The Senior Pastor provides the vision and direction for the church by managing the overall operations of the organization, leading and developing our staff and ministry teams, and building meaningful relationships with both church members and other leaders in our community. The Senior Pastor must fully affirm, support, and agree to uphold Church of the Hill’s Theological Statement and Articles of Faith as a condition of serving in this role.

We pray for a Senior Pastor who listens and acts upon God’s call to lead Church of the Hill and make our community their home for many years to come.
